Pass Plus is a modular based training course specially designed by the Driving Standards Agency that benefits newly qualified car drivers by developing positive driving attitudes and skills.
Various insurance companies support the scheme by offering discounted motor insurance, and some will even give you your first year’s no claims bonus straight away.
The practical in-car training consists of six hours on a one to one basis covering driving in town, in all weathers, on rural roads, at night, on dual carriageways and on motorways. You can benefit from insurance discounts by taking Pass Plus within 12 months of passing your test. Of course, even if you passed your driving test more than a year ago, you can still gain valuable experience from the course.
