Getting started
Before you can start driving, you will need a provisional driving licence. You can apply for your licence up to three months before your 17th birthday. Apply online for your provisional driving licence at Directgov.
Don’t forget that you can secure a special online discount for all future lesson/course fees by contacting me using the contact form.
To get started with me, all you have to do is contact me to arrange your first lesson. If you have any initial queries, or would like me to visit you at home to talk about learning to drive using the Quick-Start Home Study System, please contact me and I will do my best to help. I can deliver the DVDs and workbook to your home so that you will be able to prepare for your first lesson.
Before you start to drive, I will check your provisional licence (both the photocard and the paper part). I will also carry out a short eyesight test, by asking you to read a number plate from approximately 20.5 metres.
On lesson days I can meet you at home, school or work, and finish the lesson at any local place you wish. You can rest assured that your lesson will be on a one-to-one basis from beginning to end, with no other pupil sharing.
